Many round sinks can be two-thirds of the way down the tub and half way out.

Different types of sinks will provide different benefits and functions to your bathtub. Rectangular sinks provide the highest volume of floor area for soaking. However, they will take up the largest amount of floor space, which could make smaller bathrooms feel cramped. One popular style of rectangular bathroom sink is a bowl style that has a large drain in the middle.

If you need a smaller amount of floor space and do not want a large drain, then a square sink may be just the solution you are looking for. A shallow bath tub is a good option if you would rather not have a huge and expensive tub in your bathroom. These can be installed on top of a counter or in your bathtub.
